Sandy McCune Westin has been writing professionally and personally for…. let’s just say decades.  Her skills have enabled numerous small businesses, non-profits, professional and homeowner associations to get their message across. Some of the many fields in which she has experience include:

  • Human resources
  • Property management
  • Homeowner associations (HOA)
  • Chiropractic clinics
  • Investigative journalism
  • Global interfaith work
  • National and international event production
  • United Way
  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Social research

An International Peacebuilder

Sandy was privileged to be part of the team which produced and managed two groundbreaking international conferences, the 1988 and 1990 Soviet-American Citizen Summits hosted by Rama Jyoti Vernon and Barbara Marx Hubbard.  The contribution these international conferences made to ending the Cold War and building more peaceful Soviet-American relations during the Gorbachev era cannot be measured. Sandy (then Sandy Jeffrey) published the Citizen Diplomacy Progress Report 1989 to document the more than 250 joint projects emerging from those "Track Two Diplomacy" efforts. The book is now a collector's item available through Amazon.com. In addition, from 2009 through 2011, Sandy served as the North American Regional Coordinator of United Religions Initiative, a global interfaith network that cultivates peace and justice.
